Guard Guru Terms and Conditions

User Agreement:
By using www.guardguru.ca (Guard Guru), I agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:
Course Information and Fees:
Guard Guru is owned and operated by Guard Guru Ltd.
Our courses and their content comply with and are accredited according to the relevant guidelines set by the Ontario Ministry of the Solicitor General and the Private Security and Investigative Services.
Upon submission of payment, your course will commence, and you must complete the prescribed online study time to meet course requirements.
For First Aid Training (Ontario only): Emergency Level First Aid and CPR is sold separately. A valid Emergency Level First Aid & CPR Certificate or higher must be submitted to Guard Guru via email to be eligible for a Training Completion Number (TCN). Guard Guru reserves the right to accept or reject submissions based on The Ministry of the Solicitor General requirements.
There is no minimum age requirement for course enrollment.
Refund Policies:
Guard Guru shall not refund any payments made for course fees, administration fees, or material costs.
Confidentiality:
Guard Guru is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of students’ personal information in accordance with relevant legislation (PIPA and PIPEDA).
User License Agreement:
This Agreement constitutes the complete understanding and agreement between you, the Student, and Guard Guru Ltd., superseding any previous communications, representations, or agreements, verbal or written, related to this Agreement.
This Agreement may be amended by Guard Guru Ltd. at any time without notice. You agree to periodically check this Agreement and terms of use.
Prohibited Acts:
- Unauthorized copying or distribution of training material is prohibited.
- You may not assign, sublicense, transfer, pledge, lease, rent, lend, or dispose of the content or share your rights under this License Agreement, including passwords and user names.
- You may not disassemble, decompile, convert to another programming language, or translate the content.
- You may not alter, publish, copy, cut, modify, or transform the content for any purpose except as authorized.
- You are responsible for any trademark or copyright infringement caused by your failure to abide by this License Agreement.
Licensor’s Rights:
The content is a proprietary product of Guard Guru Ltd, protected under copyright law.
All rights, title, and interest in and to the content, including associated intellectual property rights, belong to Guard Guru.
Governing Law:
This License Agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and is entered into within this jurisdiction.
